I’m Going Crazy, Who’s With Me?
I want to start out by informing you that I am not under the effects of any medication. I probably should be, but I’m not. Weird, right? I thought so too.
Do you ever hear or see things that aren’t really there? I do, and it freaks me out all the time. It’s not uncommon at all, and even though I’ll totally troll around in the dark or even go outside in the middle of the night searching for the source of a strange noise, the darkness creeps me out too.
If I’m at home alone, I’ll hear the door close and assume the Mrs must be home. I wait. Nothing. I call out. Nothing. I walk around the house, nothing. Just me, being crazy.
I’ll walk through the living room and see the cat sitting on the chaise. Then I’ll see the same cat asleep in the laundry room. He wasn’t on the chaise at all. Nothing was. Just me, being crazy.
I’ll drive myself home, late at night, and constantly see zombies and stuff on the side of the road. I know what you’re thinking; “He pulls over and finds that it’s just trash bags”? Hell no, I don’t pull over! There’s too many zombies! Shit. What’s wrong with you?
This kind of stuff happens all the time. I usually don’t bring it up because this is the sort of thing that they would lock me up for, claiming hysteria. I’m posting this because I just know, based on The Bloggess’, post today, that some of you guys might be just as crazy.
So – noble reader(s), do you experience this kind of thing as well, or am I actually just losing my mind?
PS – If you work in medicine and have suggestions for drugs (or just the latter) please let me know. *wink*
